The Fondazione » Cultural events

The Fondazione Zancan offers to social, health and education workers, as to public managers, volunteers and all the people interested, a range of meetings and events on social and health policies.

On the 10th of February 2004, in Rome, the Foundation organized the conference «First experiences of national civil service following Law nr. 64/2001»; on the 21st of May, also in Rome, the conference «The Foundations´ contribution to relevant scientific research»; on the 4th of June, in Padova, the conference «Forty years of policies on human services in Italy»; on the 10th of September, in Florence, the conference «Outcome evaluation in services for family and children: learning from different experiences».

Every year, on May-June and October-November, the Fondazione organizes in Padova the «Cultural Tuesdays»: open meetings to discuss on themes like the protection of vulnerable persons, social rights and duties, the promotion of responsible citizenship. These meetings are an opportunity to compare experiences, to carry out analysis on ongoing tendencies, and to evaluate social and health policies. They are also an occasion for spreading research outcomes, and inform about study seminars and evaluations conducted by the Fondazione in different Italian regions.
